Starting all the required programs and uploading any updated files to the Website might possibly take longer than actually making the required changes to the site content. This rate would also apply to each picture or document that requires extensive work before it could be used on a Webpage. (The below rates already include straight forward image optimization and document cleanup.)

 
Routine Webpage Work  . . . . . . . . . . . . $25.00
 

Creating a Web page using a previously created master page or template; or the updating of a Web page that should be accomplished within an hour. This includes an update to information that occurs on multiple pages if the process used to create the Website can automatically propagate the change to the other pages. This rate would also apply to creating some straight forward original content (like this hand drawn street map) for the Website.

 
Webpage Development Work  . . . . . . . . $60.00
 

Creating a new Web page by adapting an existing master page or template, or other Web page support work where significant time and effort will be needed to complete the work. This would include any update that will cause some manner of multi-page changes. (e.g. Changes to the site structure that will affect a limited number of pages.) This can also include simple site-wide design or coding changes, if the methods used to create the site will propagate those changes.

 
Website Development Work  . . . . . . . . . $100.00
 

Page layout and development work— including creating a master page or template for a site page— while producing the first page of that type. Thus any similar pages can be produced, or changes can be performed to that type of site page, in less time and at a lower cost.

 
Basic Website Design Work  . . . . . . . . . . $125.00
 

I am not starting with a complete site layout and page design, so I must also perform some basic design work. This can also include any extensive change to a site design, where individual pages must be updated and checked in some semi-automated manner.
